If you are here, you have heard there is a new brewery coming to the area and you want to know more. Well, this is the place for any and all Meuse Brewing news!
Though there is a lot going on behind the scenes, there is not a lot we can say for certain. What we can share is that we are incredibly excited about starting our brewery in Norfolk County.
We got our start at New Limburg Brewery in Nixon, Norfolk County. This is where Mischa found his passion for beer and was able to grow as a brewer, winning several provincial and even national awards for his beers! There he specialized in Belgian ales but was able to experiment with a variety of other styles as well, with the barrel-aged projects being especially exciting. The anticipation for how these would turn out was thrilling.
With our passion moving more and more towards the specialty, spontaneously fermented, and barrel-aged beers, we decided to leave New Limburg Brewery to be able to focus on the types of beers that got us most excited. From there, the search for a location began. Fast forward a few months, and we settled on a farm in Scotland, Norfolk County.
We cannot wait to get started and share our creations and excitement. Along with this, we want to focus on the experience around the beer, share our insights and learn more along the way.
